The new sofa has arrived and I didn’t have to wait to long for it! I love it and Alfie has already made himself at home! It didn’t take long for me and Dad to get the old one out. We took it through the back and had to drag it around the front to put it into the front garden until the council come on Tuesday for it, but it was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be.
So at some point over the weekend I have to empty the cupboard in preparation for Wednesday! I have some ideas where things can go and have decided to part with a few items to make room. I may as well take advantage of the £15 I have paid for the council to remove the old sofa and get them to take some other items away at the same time for me! I anticipate a busy weekend whilst I have a sort through!
It’s all *go* for you at the moment what with getting everything prepared for the bathroom refit. Still, it’s going to be well worth it
Love the new sofa! It looks gorgeous. Dead comfy too! Alfie certainly seems settled, LOL.

Gosh, that was quick – mine took about six weeks which suggests it was being handmade by elves or something…
I can’t see it either. But hey, new sofa is fun goodness.
Cat – I bought this one from Argos and initially they said 35 days for delivery BUT when we got to the till to pay for it they offered me a delivery just three days later! My last sofa took about 8 weeks and my mum’s recent purchase took around six weeks!
