Rise & Shine
May 15, 2008 by Alison
I was up early this morning just before 6am, by 8am the washing machine had been on twice and the washing was pegged out. By 8.30am I was in town and back by 10am. It’s one of those days, the sun is shining and I feel good, iPod on the world felt like it was my oyster! I had to stop myself buying a new camera in Jessops, I spotted it in the window at half price and I was so tempted, then stopped and thought to myself “what the hell am I doing? I have no need for a new camera,” I then carried on walking…
Alfie has enjoyed three walks to the park today, you just have to take advantage of the weather since it could be throwing it down tomorrow!
I am debating going to London in August to meet some new friends I have made recently, they have had something planned for months and have invited me along. I am really getting along with them and think a weekend break in London would be rather nice. I did say I would like to go to London this year and catch something at the west end, so I could kill two birds with one stone!
The funeral is tomorrow, I will just be glad when it’s over and I am back at home! A pub has been arranged for afterwards with a buffet, see what did I say, scouse funerals & pubs, they just go hand in hand!
I am meeting Jackie at the weekend, I am travelling down to see her on the train, I am looking forward to it as it gets me out and we get to catch up!
Now I have to head over to the florist to collect the flowers for tomorrow…
if you go to London let me know! i’ll do my best to come down and say hello
Blimmey, you WERE up early, LOL. Mind you, at 6.45am, I wasn’t far behind you! Haha. Honestly, I really do loath early mornings
I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your trip into town AND that you managed to stop yourself from making an unnecessary purchase. Great control! Haha.
Also, it sounds as if Alfie has been a lucky boy getting three walks today. You are right about making the most of the weather. Yesterday (evening) was nothing but heavy showers, and terrifying bouts of thunder and lightening. Today didn’t start off much better, though I was able to get in a long walk without getting wet. Phew!
As for your proposed trip to London in August, I really do hope that you are able to go along. I am sure that it would do you the world of good and I am sure that you would really, really enjoy it
You go for it!
I really hope that tomorrow will be *okay* for you tomorrow, Alison and that it wont be too stressful for you and the rest of the family. My thoughts will be with you…
Also, have a lovely time with Jackie over the weekend.
Have fun!
Hugs,
Lins xx
I hope you will make it through everything fine tomorrow. Maybe it would help to pack a bar of chocolate for your nerves…
Enjoy the weekend!
Vix - I was hoping you would say that!

Claudia - Good idea, I only packed some mints! I’ve emailed you also now!
