Linds, trust me if I make that appointment, I am not starting from scratch! If they dare ask me how I am and what’s been happening, I’ll get up and walk out either that or stand there in the corner and bang my head against the brick wall!

Hm, the son who refuses to cancel his package holiday... should make us all think. I think he has set his priorities.

(I find it heartless still.)

I don't really know what to say with regard to family issues. As with ALL families, I guess there will always be a certain amount of conflict, though I can understand why you are feeling as if you have been left out of late with regard to being kept in the dark about certain issues.

Maybe it would help to sit down and discuss it with your folks? If not, maybe bring it up with your mum if you don't feel entirely comfortable bending your dad's ear! Perhaps it's time that you really let them know how you feel? If nothing else, surely it would clear the air?

I dunno. Families are funny ol' things, but when push comes to shove, where would we be without them :-(

Re the letter from the CMHT, I am glad to hear that you have now contacted them, and have made yourself an appointment for June. I really do hope that you don't have to see someone new. Apart from having to get to know someone for scratch, and to try and build a relationship with them, I guess it would mean you have to go over your history right from the very beginning :-(

I really do hope that things look up for you, Ally...

Thinking of you lots!
